From the Subway to the Screen Carlos’s entry into the industry is the stuff of New York legend. Starting his career in advertising doing paste-up mechanicals, his life changed in a NYC subway car. While sketching in a sketchbook, he was approached by a film professional who needed a storyboard artist. That chance encounter launched a prolific career in film and television production.
Carlos moved from storyboards to set dressing and art direction, leaving his visual stamp on pop culture history. His portfolio includes storyboarding scenes for Tyler Perry’s “Diary of a Mad Black Woman,” commercials for Nelly’s “Sweat Suit” album, and working on iconic music videos like Busta Rhymes’ “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See.”
Mastering the New Media A former sci-fi fantasy artist turned tech evangelist, Carlos saw the digital shift coming and positioned himself at the forefront. He has been a dealer of premium streaming hardware technology for studios and television. He helps creators navigate the “new world” of content distribution, empowering them to not just make content, but to own their brand and monetize it effectively.
